Richard, unfortunately I don't know such a solution. As far as I know, everything you read in your browser is already downloaded by the browser, so it is possible to read it from its cache.
What's wrong with the publicating being downloaded and shared? If you hint at what kind of story it is or the purpose of such a feat, then I might recall a solution I've seen somewhere, but without specifics, I'll pass.
